Event Horizon Arrives — A New Model from Stan Katayama
We're excited to welcome a new model to the Mirrorize family: Event Horizon, crafted by one of the very best independent model makers to exist! Stan Katayama
You'll find it live now in the User Trained section of the AI Studio — 1 credit per generation, free for Pro Unlimited subscribers.
About Stan
Stan has been quietly shaping the open-source image generation community since early 2023. His work on Civitai has racked up more than 72,000 downloads, powered 126,000+ generations, and earned him a loyal following of artists who keep coming back to his releases. He builds across all model architectures, with a sensibility that leans toward atmospheric, character-forward imagery — the kind of work that makes you stop scrolling.
Stan is one of those model makers who treats training as craft, not output. The result shows.

About Event Horizon
Event Horizon is a cinematic experience with a strong sense of mood. It handles dramatic lighting, depth, and stylized figures very well — anything that benefits from a strong atmospheric pull.
Like all User Trained models on Mirrorize, the model was created by a user on the app. It's not a general-purpose tool; it's a point of view.
To try it:

Why We Care About Independent Makers
Mirrorize exists because of people like Stan. The platform is at its best when it's a place for independent creators to show their work to a wider audience — and for users to discover models they wouldn't have found otherwise. Every model maker we partner with brings something specific that can't be replicated by tuning weights or chasing benchmarks.
We're proud to host Event Horizon, and we're grateful Stan trusted us with it.
If you generate something with Event Horizon you're proud of, tag it on Mirrorize so Stan and the community can see what his work makes possible.
