A crowded train station during rush hour. In the exact center stands an ordinary middleaged man, but his body is progressively being constructed from bottom to top like an impossibly sophisticated physical 3D printer: shoes completely real, legs partially formed from translucent layers, torso composed of hundreds of precise material slices, face only halfrendered, tiny fragments of clothing still materializing in midair around him. Everyone continues walking around him as though nothing is happening. Ultrarealistic photography, extremely convincing human anatomy, realistic commuters, shallow depth of field, subtle technological mystery, no visible machine, no glowing scifi effectsthe man simply appears to be undergoing physical construction
