View from directly behind a young woman climbing a ladder against a weathered wooden backyard fence, symmetrical composition, the top edge of the fence running horizontally across the exact middle of the frame, cutting the image in half. Upper half: a vast breathtaking golden hour sky, towering sunlit cumulus clouds glowing peach, rose and molten gold, fading into deep lavender and soft blue at the top, a few early stars, birds in silhouette, sun rays bursting through the clouds just beyond the fence. Lower half: the fence boards covered in tangled ivy, an old aluminum ladder leaning against it, overgrown grass and dandelions at the base. She is seen from the back, halfway up the ladder, her head and shoulders rising just above the fence line, gazing out at the sky: bright blue pigtails tied high with mismatched hair ties, oversized black and white horizontal striped long-sleeve shirt with frayed cuffs, fingerless gloves gripping the top of the fence. Warm backlight rimming her hair and pigtails with glowing edges, long shadows falling toward the viewer. Cinematic, dreamy, painterly semi-realistic illustration, rich color, soft film grain, sense of wonder and freedom.
