This baby sea turtle blanket has already found its forever home. It's actually one of my creations from a few years back, and my first ever 3d blanket. The recipient of this one loves sea turtles and wanted to know what I could do. The main goal was for this blanket to be a decorative piece. I used the wavy blanket pattern as a base, and added the little sea turtles and starfish to give it a more day at the beach feel. What these pics don't show is that the reverse side of the blanket has the belly side of the turtles, giving it a definite top and bottom. Each little turtle sticks up about 2 inches. Since this blanket was meant to be decorative, the turtles and starfish are also lightly adorned with tiny glass tube and sead beads. The woman who got this one, absolutely loved her creation. Last I'd heard the beads shimmer nicely in the sun, giving a glistening effect. witchwayworks.com
