My own Prompt for a Shadow Phoenix On an overcast day, near dusk as the shadows lengthen; gargantuan Tarantulas swarm over a group of fine Peacocks, trapping them in webs, their mandibles dripping with venom. One Peacock trapped beneath a web bursts into flames like the mythical Phoenix. The flames are a riot of rainbow colours, a lantern in the gathering darkness causing the vile spiders to rear back from the Phoenix.
