'February 14' by Meesha was an absolute joy to create. We stepped through this one very carefully as we flushed out the story, prioritizing how we could get as much 1940s magic and nostalgia packed into the 4 minute music video. This was one of my favorite shots - Meesha blowing a kiss into the camera, which in the reverse-angle shot, reveals the kiss was meant for a soldier in the audience who was caught off-guard, which is a wild emotion to see in an AI character. The real magic of this shot was revealed when we released it in ultra-wide screen and in monochrome, where the lighting and film style came to life and screamed 1940s Hollywood. Also note the authentic 1940s RCA vocal microphone. . .
