Believe it or not... these are not wings. This is the outer skirt before sewing its parts together, and adding a small hem, and button. I've been timing myself on some of this creation process. Turns out one of the larger skirt pieces took me roughly 3 hours to make, taking out little breaks to refocus my eyes. One leg took me 5 hours due to all the color changes, but the detail is much more in depth if you will. The hair took roughly 14 hours. Adding the strand of gold made it more difficult than normal, but the shimmer it added is so very worth it. These fairies are no joke when it comes to construction, and maaaaan do they look cool when done. Even as Im conjuring them, I'm getting excited to see what their final form will be.
