A detailed, high-resolution photograph of an oil painting executed in the style of Renaissance portraits, featuring a long-eared beige rabbit, meticulously rendered as the central figure in a formal three-quarter pose. The rabbit has deep, serious eyes and wears a magnificent white ruffled collar with intricate folds, adorned with a delicate lace border, as well as matching lace cuffs on its visible paws/hands. It is clad in a dark velvet cape or doublet, the lower front of which is adorned with a repeating pattern of gilded skulls and crossbones. A large, ornate gilded chain of office, set with precious stones, hangs from the rabbit’s body, which it holds in its right paws. The background is a dark, textured, deep blue-grey canvas with a subtle damask pattern. In the bottom left, a smaller bald eagle, with white feathers on its head and a brown body, is depicted as a miniature companion. The lighting is chiaroscuro, illuminating the rabbit’s face and ruff whilst casting deep shadows. The masterpiece should display visible canvas texture, age-related craquelure and the soft lustre of old oil paint, without any glare. At the bottom right, the fine gold Gothic signature "Crypte"
