Close-up of a backlit photograph showing a richly decorated three-dimensional stained-glass sculpture of a seated cat, set against the skyline of Paris. A breathtaking view#Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, with its cartouches. The intricate mosaic of geometric, multicoloured glass panels outlines the cat’s silhouette, notably its prominent ears, head, body and curled tail. A palette of deep, saturated colours, comprising amber, blue, green and dark red glass, is used, whilst the cat’s striking almond-shaped eyes are crafted from bright, luminous green glass. Dark black metal filigree and thick solder lines delineate each section and create delicate details around the whiskers, contrasting sharply with the illuminated glass. The warm internal light source makes the glass glow with rich hues, casting a soft, coloured light onto the textured wooden surface beneath the sculpture. The blurred background features a warm, soft bokeh of light and foliage, with a subtle hint of an orange lamp. The photograph was taken with a full-frame camera and a shallow depth of field, capturing the intricate textures of the glass and metal, and is framed by a black border. The cat is on the rooftops of Paris
