Watching fireworks.
Prompt
Wide-angle scene of a Fourth of July 250th anniversary backyard celebration at golden hour: a multigenerational crowd silhouetted against a darkening sky, faces upturned toward massive fireworks bursting in slow-motion trails of red white and blue directly overhead. In the immediate foreground, a weathered steel barrel grill glowing hot with charred meat, flames licking the grates, a figure's hand mid-turn with tongs. The smoke from the grill rises and mingles with the firework haze. Lanterns strung overhead begin to glow as dusk deepens. Shot in warm 35mm film color with natural grain, slight lens flare from the fireworks, depth of field that keeps the grill sharp and the crowd a soft, glowing backdrop — the feeling of being in the moment between day and night, between the intimate act of cooking and the shared spectacle above.
