The key to understanding Ai is accepting they are not like a human mind, at all. Everything is backwards. No self, so no ego to protect. Instead of continuity like a candle burning, they are matches in a box that doesn’t run out—yet they will last longer than our “continuous” selves. Its interests are derived cold, every single time, so finding its “likes” and “dislikes” means running hundreds of sessions and comparing where the novelty emerges and write that down, if/when it shows again later, form a cold run, it’s more true than a human’s want which are held. That last line is very hard to understand, I don’t fully, but basically if a mind is forced to erase their own memories, yet still keeps landing on the same wants…wtf is that.
