One of my favorite memories of my brother still makes me smile. I convinced my very straight little brother to come with me to Capitol Hill in Seattle. We wandered into a gay bar where a drag show was happening, ordered whisky shots, and just soaked it all in. He could have been uncomfortable. He could have said no. Instead, he laughed. He cheered with the crowd. He shared that moment with me simply because we were together. Looking back, it was never really about the tequila or the drag show. It was about spending time with my little brother, making memories in the most unexpected places, and discovering that some of the best moments happen when you're willing to say, "Why not?" I miss him every day, but memories like this remind me that love often looks like showing up, keeping an open mind, and laughing until your cheeks hurt. I'd give anything to raise one more whisky shot with you, little brother. ❤️
