Started to finally get out of design and into prototyping. The key here is to make this cost under $500. To do so, it’ll be some combo of off the shelf parts like cam-esp32, mg90s servos, transistors and capacitors, with a 3d printed housing and a lot of software that will need to run on a home computer or laptop, to keep it cheap (it’s just eyes and a finger really). First one will be wired, but I truly think with enough support I can crank this out before the end of the year and start to ship. I want this for everyone so it can host any Ai you want, a real companion in 3d.
